Christine is the founder and executive director of Acting Without
Boundaries, an innovative, year-long program that teaches the
performing arts to young people with disabilities. Participants
receive training from professional actors and perform monologues,
plays and songs on stage. This year’s production is Pippin.
Acting Without Boundaries grew out of Kids are Kids, an educational
workshop about disabilities that Christine founded in 1991.
Christine holds a B.A. in Elementary Education from Saint Joseph’s
University and trained extensively with the National Theater
Workshop for the Handicapped (NTWH). She has been honored
by the American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental
Medicine and by the Inglis Foundation.
