Former Conestoga High School teacher Maureen Barry passionately supports
Amaryllis Theatre, the award-winning Philadelphia theater company that provides opportunities for actors with and without disabilities to perform together.
“Amaryllis helps people realize that actors with disabilities are no different from
other actors,” says Maureen.

“Maureen Barry is the most valuable board member and friend Amaryllis Theatre
has ever had,” says Mimi Smith, AT Executive Artistic Director. “She helped us
raise more than $150,000 over the last four years and has assisted in development
of some of our most educational projects.” Last year Amaryllis honored Maureen by establishing the Maureen Barry Educational Fund.
